I love this place! The hot dogs are very high quality, and the toppings are even better. You just can't beat 1$ coney dogs on mon&weds, yes you heard me right 1$ coney. They also have some really intriguing and fun hotdog flavors. Great prices, excellent service, fantastic food, tons of different options to try, trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Went in for my sisters birthday lunch. She had been many times this was my 1st.

1st I would like to say the young girl working the register and cleaning was great. This is NOT ABOUT HER!

The older woman was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Audible huffs and sighs to our questions. Examples:
-Was offered a free cupcake for my sisters birthday, ok great, but when we ordered a meal that came with a cupcake and my sister mentioned the birthday cupcake aswell, the older
Woman announced with annoyance that we already got one. We explained that we would split the paid for cupcake for the kids. Inserts huffs and puffs... we just said never-mind to the bday cupcake and let the kids have the purchased one.

- our hot dogs had ZERO TOPPINGS. Coney dog looked like the coney sause was painted on with a water color paint brush. When I asked for more... insert huffs and puffs as she gave me a centimeter of coney sause in a 2oz sause cup. My sister opened her popper dog. It had again the tinyist amount of cream cheese and literally 8 bacon bits. Not big ones but the littles ones that go on a salad bar. Again when my sister asked for more cream cheese the huffs and puffs came now we can hear mumbles and glances towards us.

The whole experience was HORRIBLE.

I WILL NOT GO BACK.

I say this as a long time server in the restaurant industry. I deal with customers daily, her behavior was not ok.

I will always eat hotdogs, especially when they're souped up!!! You'll have to give this place a try, right off the main strip in Tecumseh. Below is my review, enjoy fellow foodies!

Worth every bite, every time! This place is a good reason, I believe you don't HAVE to spend a lot of money to experience good food if you dont want to. I also never have a problem with consistently whenever I visit. My wife custom orders the same 2 Brauts anytime we visit lol, sooo I'd say they pass!

I call this the Midwestern Special, and my goodness was it special. This was my first visit, and I'll definitely be back next time I am in Tecumseh. The server was super helpful going over their different options for what different hotdogs ("3-meat" chicken, pork, and beef. Jumbo Dod, 1/4lb, and their foot long) and the 15+ different hotdogs. I figured my first visit was to stick to what I know (Detroit and Chicago style) and see how they were. Next time I visit, I am definitely going to try a few of their crazy styles. Downtown is a quaint city and kinda a cool road trip destination place to visit.

Always see the billboard on M50 & pass by the restaurant on my way to Manchester decided to give it a try for lunch. The staff was friendly & gave me a menu to take home 😃

The Dog House is currently open for carry out only. We stopped in to pick up something quick on a drive through the area. It was clean, a fun atmosphere with so many signs to check out, and the person working was a delight. She was incredibly friendly and had great suggestions, like the family deal which included four dogs, two sides, two drinks, and a cupcake. The hot dog choices are endless, and we stuck to options from the top ten. The cheesy potatoes are divine, thick chunks of potato wrapped in cheesy goodness. The cupcakes are even more divine, fluffy, filled, and the perfect amount of sweet. The menu shows other meal options available as well, if you're looking for something outside of a hot dog. It was a perfect stop today.

Amazing!! The Dog House is a fun comfortable space and great for take out!! Their paninis and incredibly good! Everything is fresh and nice and the bread is always so good!! I’ll even stick the leftover in the fridge and eat them cold!! The prices are fair and their sides and delicious! Their Mac n cheese has great flavors with a hint of spice and I’ve never had cheesy potatoes like their’s!! My favorites are their club panini and their BLT panini. Their brownies are great and I am very excited to try their huge cupcakes and muffins! And I usually hate mayo and I will only eat it on their sandwiches!! A great place must eat spot in downtown Tecumseh!

Many tasty hot dogs offered on the menu. Something for everyone! Great mac-n-cheese too! Clean dining area and good atmosphere! Will go there again.
