What a great theater!! The Dolphin Playhouse is run by an amazing lady who was super fun to work with.

My band played a show here last night and it was great. The theater has a great lighting setup! Very impressive. Not sure how much of the sound system was there for the night or not but things were impressive.

It’s a really neat historic theater with fun concessions like great popcorn and soda. The seats are comfortable. Spaced great.

It’s a fun spot to visit and I highly recommend making it a destination in Coos Bay! Has the fun coastal charm lots of the new stuff is missing.

This is a very cozy and fun playhouse. The staff are mostly volunteers and are passionate about their work. The play was well done and I had an absolute blast watching it! This is an historic building that started out as a theatre and went on to go through a number of incarnations. The volunteers who are trying to bring it back to it's former intimate glory are doing a good job from what I could see. Drawbacks are it is very small, it has about 50 seats total, the stage is quite small. The acoustics are wonderful! I sometimes have a hard time hearing and had no issue here at all.

My family has been to two performances and have not laughed so hard. The actors are amazing and we love the atmosphere of the black box theatre. So intimate like you're part of the show. We will attend every performance we can. First rate.

Excellent experience; comfortable, clean, modern seating on a slant so all can see the stage. Small, intimate theater experience, easy to see and hear the performance. Caring, committed volunteers everywhere to assist with any questions. Five stars all around.
