It's a clean, local movie theater, with 2 screens. Concession prices are very reasonable. I do wish they played movies in the afternoon, but honestly its just nice to have a theater in such a small town.

As of June, they are down to 1 screen, but hopefully will have the other running eventually.

We had the best family day at the movies!! One of the things our kids have been asking and asking about since moving here was going to see a movie. We finally went and what a treat it was! Reasonably priced. Great seats. Snacks were well stocked. My husband and I both loved the detail of the old opera house building brought to life as a movie theater? Can't wait to keep coming back and making memories here!!

The Fox Theatre in La Junta is pretty nice, it’s definitely a dated cinema but with lots of old school coziness and elegance. I love the character of older buildings so there was definitely a bit of nostalgia that factored into my rating for here. But the staff working the ticket booth and concessions were friendly and fast, the tickets were super cheap, and that really helps this theatre score well in our book. We saw Endgame here a couple years ago and it was a really fun showing. Every seat in the house was packed because there was a lot of hype surrounding the release of that MCU movie, and the small town vibes were exciting and really built a lot of hype for the action. Some little kids got too excited and their mom had to escort them out a couple times, so I agree with other reviewers when they say it’s a bit noisy on the popular showings. Other than that there was good, generously salted popcorn and refreshing soft drinks to enjoy with the film. Had a good time going out here and would definitely catch another movie at this theatre.

Service was great, Staff was koo. It was clean and organized for the most part. Really dope that they serve brews now but would be better if there was a bigger selection + tap options. Would be better for more snacking options which was the biggest downside - had to wait until about half way through the movie for cheese to be ready for nachos and it tasted mostly like Alfredo sauce which was just weird lol. Speakers could've been louder for the movie.

The new owners have really outdone themselves! The theatre is very clean! And SMELLS clean and sanitary! The consession stand is well stocked, and reasonably priced! The staff is exceptional! This was our first trip back into a theatre, since COVID, and EVERYTHING was better than expected! We can hardly wait to go back!......9/22/23 STILL EXCELLENT!!

We decided to go back to the movie theater this week after over two years. Wow! The Fox Theater was rennovated with class and style. Everything was clean and the snack bar was very organized. The employees were professional, friendly and wearing uniforms. The new seats are comfortable . The manager and his team are proud to be part of the continuing history of the Fox Theater. He wants the theater to be a positive asset for La Junta,CO. The theater is now a great example of team effort. Kudos! Thanks for an impressive movie experience and great customer service.

Screen projector needs calibrating. There was chromatic aberration in the video.

The volume was also set WAY too high, and it forced me to walk out of a movie early due to how mind numbingly loid it was. I could hear the movie perfectly fine with my ears completely plugged, which is a massive issue.
You'd also think that with how loud it is, you'd be able to hear dialog well. NOPE. The speakers are all bass and top end, so all you can hear is the background music and sound effects. The human voice resides in the mid range of a speaker, not the top or the bass.

Nice little theater. Prices are reasonable and popcorn is good. The seating is comfortable, but the temperature is the theater always seems too cold. Their website is always updated, so it's easy to tell what is playing and upcoming. The kids pack is a great value - you can upsize the drink for $0.50. It a must get when you take your kiddos.
