I chose to have my rehearsal dinner at the Goetchius House and I could not have picked a better place!! Renata did a phenomenal job on the decor for the event! It was absolutely stunning!
The food was incredible!! And I mean INCREDIBLE. We had close to 50 people and every single meal was cooked to perfection. From the appetizer to our main course to the dessert, perfect. Hands down, the Beef Wellington was one of the best dinners I have ever had.
The staff did an amazing job! The best service and food in Columbus Ga BY FAR. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone that I know! You’re missing out if you haven’t been!! Time to check it out!

#1 VENUE in Columbus!! - everything was exceptional. This should be a go to for any event in Columbus. Your one stop shop! For our baby shower celebration, Matt the owner was ready with finalizing all details, there were several food options for our event, they referred me to a florist and a must is THIS STAFF - i cant brag enough on Marcello and the staff. They were so attentive and made sure everything was to our liking. Recently they've added a toy shop and I was able to purchase some very unique items for the shower. They have several rooms available no matter the size of the event. It is a beautiful historic home built in 1839. Perfect for dining in or a celebration.

Wow! Came here on a whim because a friend was the guest musician for Saturday night dinner. I Had never been here before, was under dressed for the occasion, and I didn’t have a reservation. I did not expect to be treated so warmly and kindly. 100% of the staff was friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing!!! Petit steak with risotto. My friend Mike played world class and slowly warmed the room up with great music and by the end of the set the whole room was singing along. Truly a one of a kind place and experience. Definitely go!

Incredible place!! We got there just after it opened, so we roamed around the entire property, and basically had it to ourselves for a little while. Staff was incredible! Maxwell was our waiter, and we learned an incredible mixologist as well, learned the story behind some of the drinks, and listened to jazz. The food was absolutely incredible, it was my first beef wellington and was amazing! So sad the tiramisu was not available, they and run out and the next batch wasn't ready yet, but Maxwell felt so bad seeing as how excited I was, he brought me some fresh key lime pie tart, on the house. The owners were amazing, they would pass each other in front of the band every once in a while, and dance beautifully together for a moment. Great atmosphere, we will definitely go every time we're in Columbus. If you want a more intimate experience, upstairs is the place for you, a more fun, social experience, go downstairs!

The ambiance was absolutely charming and made us feel like we were in Savannah. The decor is beautiful and well thought out definitely the highlight of our experience.
All the servers were very friendly but inattentive, and we had to call multiple times just to get water.
The food was above average, but several menu items were unavailable, which was disappointing. The arancini were delicious, and my kids loved the chicken parmigiana. However, as a vegetarian, I was looking forward to the cacio e pepe, only to find they were out of it. I opted for the Vera pasta instead, it had green olives instead of Kalamata olives (described on menu)and what seemed like jarred roasted peppers.
The owner, Renata, was incredibly kind and attentive, which we appreciated. She explained that three chefs had called in sick that day, which explained the limited menu.
However, we’d like to go back and try different dishes, especially when they’re fully staffed and the menu is complete.

I recently had the pleasure of joining my family for Sunday brunch at the G House. It was fantastic! The house has been restored beautifully and it has been filled with a mix of eclectic and classic decor which created a unique, fun, and welcoming environment. The wait staff was professional, friendly, and attentive. We had the buffet and every item on the table was delectable! They provided a modern upscale twist on classic southern breakfast foods. While we were there we shopped at the on-site toy store. I can’t wait to come back and join them for jazz night at the bar downstairs or for ice cream and coffee at their ice cream parlor in the summer. It’s truly a treat to visit the G House for food and drinks while touring Columbus’ Historic District.
