My daughter's wedding was amazing. The venue was nice and reasonably priced. My only suggestion to couples having the wedding here is to plan around the train. Lol

We had a train come through as my daughter was walking down the aisle lol good thing she was so stunning, we hardly even noticed.

Tammy is sweet and went out of her way to accommodate us.

The owners could careless about their clients. If you have any issues, they do NOT help in any way. The venue had no power from a recent storm and as the owners of the venue they did absolutely nothing to make sure we had power. All they said was they usually get power back on quick since they are in town and by a red light. The funny thing is all the stores around had power even the traffic light but not the venue. The owners fail to abide by their own contract. They could careless about your special day.

They never checked on us and when I called you aquire about a generator, Timmy said they did not have one. They couldn't even purchase a generator so we could power the DJ or even some simple string light to see.

They own a venue and rented it to us with no power at all. After multiple email attempts after the fact, they will not respond.

Be cautious and make this a last resort if planning your wedding.

Timmy and family were super nice. Left us to put the venue together and run it however we wanted. It was right next to a train track and just our luck, a train passed through as we were right in the middle of the ceremony. The establishment was phenomenal. Absolutely gorgeous house with lots of room for the ladies and men to get everything done. All in all we had a fantastic time and would recommend this venue to anyone seeking a place to get married.

The Hilliard Mansion is an ideal location for a stately wedding. Boasting a beautiful home as the backdrop for a reception, a gorgeous white gazebo for a ceremony space, the home is just gorgeous. Good venue with lots of outdoor space and a separate building for indoor events. Would have liked to have seen more designated parking. It rained earlier in the day and the walkway from the backdoor to the building adjacent to the Hillard Mansion was still wet and made for a precarious crossing for guests. I would recommend a covered walkway and some type of antiskid tape or paint treatment to prevent guests from future slips and falls. The mansion was mainly for rooms for changing, restrooms, and a lovely backdrop for photo ops. The "annex" to The Mansion was large enough dining tables, buffet tables, DJ booth, and dance floor while remaining quaint and intimate.
