I had been there a few times though never had taken a good tour to meet with all the people and fur babies. It was an extreme delight to see and meet the felines and play with all the dogs young and old. The employees/volunteers do a tremendous amount of work & should be proud, I am.

I highly support this no kill shelter. Most of OCHSs animals are fostered, and they have a lot of individual care. Instead of the kitten we had fully intended on adopting, an older house manager (aka Charlie) derailed our ideas and came to his forever home.

I called on a Monday and asked for pricing on neutering my pup and told them I love on a fixed income and had to wait till I got paid. Well they neutered him that Wed for me. They are so amazing and kind. Thank you for doing that for me and my pup Jasper.

I recently adopted a puppy named Shiloh from HSOC and had a great experience. He was part of their Camp K-9 program and the training he received really made his transition into family life smooth sailing! The facility was very clean and all the animal I saw were extremely well cared for. They also allowed a trial period to make sure he was the right fit for our family. They provided a lot of information to make sure I knew how to properly care for my new puppy and checked up on him several times during the trial period to see how things were going.

We had a wonderful experience with the Spay and Neuter Clinic. Covid brought us our two fur babies last year but, like many quarantine pet owners, we had trouble finding an affordable place to get our puppies fixed. The clinic was very kind and helpful in getting our babies in. They are healing wonderfully and we couldn't be happier with their care and safety precautions to keep us all safe!
