I had the best chicken salad sandwich ever! No regrets with choosing the Sherman. I also had this pastry which looked like it had a million layers. So good I had to take a couple bites before I took the picture! What a nice place! Staff was kind.
You guys are awesome!

Great coffee shop in Fairplay. We decided for some lunch here and it was great. The staff were friendly, plenty of option of drinks and food, good atmosphere, and of course, really nice food! The sausage egg and cheese sandwich was just as awesome for a lunch before you depart the Fairplay town. Worth a bite to eat and drink here!

It's one of the only coffee shops in town. My daughter loved her iced vanilla latte. My 2 drinks I had were not very flavorful. I had hot drinks. Just warm milk with a hint of flavor. I like more flavor. I loved how they us spaghetti noodles for stir sticks. Cleaver!

We stopped in at about 1:45, a full 15 minutes before closing time (which we hadn’t noticed). They have a nice bathroom i’d used before. Plan was to get some ice coffees and use the bathroom on the way home from hiking. The young lady taking our coffee orders did not know the answer to my question about their matcha and did not attempt to ask anyone. She told me the chai powder was matcha powder, so I ordered a latte instead. My friend also ordered a latte. It took 5-7 minutes for the lattes to be made. You can see in the clear cup photo that there is perhaps only a minuscule amount of espresso in my decaf latte. It tasted like straight milk in a cup that maybe had some espresso residue in it, or like they re-brewed an already used portion of beans. My friend’s latte looked very similar, and we asked how many shots were in the latte, pointing out how milky they looked. Three young ladies had now gathered behind the counter and were all indicating the lattes were fine and that they were now closing in 3 minutes so we’d need to go! My friend said she wanted them to add another shot, and they complied but charged her for the additional shot. We had been in the line for the bathroom since after paying for the coffees, now roughly ten minutes ago. There had been a line for the bathroom and the person in front of us was taking a while. The workers added my friends shot and then asked why we were still here because they were closed. I said we had been in the bathroom line and were going to go. She told me “this is our business and we are closed, so you need to leave” (because they were leaving, she indicated). I informed her there was someone in the bathroom and asked if she planned to leave him locked in, and she said no, but then told me that she wanted us to leave and “would prefer if it didn’t have to be a standoff.” I told her we’d leave as soon as we used the restroom. The other worker came from behind the counter and knocked on the door and told the man in there that they were closed and he needed to leave. We decided to go to the gas station instead to pee. I have stopped here several times on my way to Breck from my home in the Springs, but will not be stopping here again or recommending to anyone.

This cool, local spot is always my go-to coffee and breakfast spot when in the area. Breakfast burritos and hot or cold lattes are always a good choice. Staff are always friendly and offer to give free pup cups for my dogs in the car.
