Great place for short inexpensive improv comedy!
It’s small but this venue has great potential!
First we had dinner at TAQUERIA EL HABANERO. I liked the food but my wife (whom understands Spanish), was offended by adult pornographic show that was on the restaurant’s television. We couldn’t turn off or change channels on the remote. That’s enough of a reason not to return!😬🤔 It was inappropriate especially since a family with young girls were sitting at the table next to us. Ambler has multiple venues with plenty of restaurants and entertainment all right within walking distance. Gotta get there early since parking is a bear, otherwise best to park at Weaver’a Way or take the Septa Regional Rail in to town!

It’s a small venue but that gave it a really intimate, easygoing feeling. I was there for an improv group and I felt like I was part of the action. The other attendees were very friendly and kind and we laughed like crazy. There is so much good food on that street in Ambler that I recommend you make a whole night of it.

The Lab theater is a cozy fun upbeat friendly welcoming cool venue to watch improv and stand up comedy! It's great because they have comedians from all around Philadelphia. They also offer classes for kids. It's in a great location next to all the restaurants in Ambler. I suggest buying your tickets ahead of time, since seats fill up quickly. It is also BYO!
