This theatre was an amazing place to catch a movie while we were staying in town. We prefer the smaller hometown theatres and Lake Theatre did not disappoint! Very clean! The snack options were plentiful and very reasonably priced, the seats were comfortable and there was even a charger port near some of the seats. My teens saw a 2:00 matine and thoroughly enjoyed their selves, we were greeted by the sweetest dog apon entry and the owners were super nice! Don't miss this experience!

We love this theater... I would recommend this place to everyone...it's been remodeled...the owners do some themes for different movies to help bring the movie to life with amazing decorations..the seats are comfy..I'm not a big popcorn person but the popcorns good there too...I can't say enough good about this place..I took some pictures during a movie but not enough to ruin the movie for anyone but hopefully enough to show others how nice this place is to watch a good movie at...even from the side view...the movie was clear and sounded great...The movie inside out 2 is worth seeing... a small sample of the movie without spoiling it for you... good night out

Lake Theatre (Oscoda) is an old-fashioned movie theater that's been around for 50+ years. Talk about good customer service: Before the movie started, I mentioned to the couple working the lobby (Terry & Don) that it would be helpful to have a hook on the women's bathroom stall door to hang my purse on. When I went into the bathroom after the movie, Don had already installed a hook on the door. Wow! The new owner (Teresa) is replacing some of the seats with new ones. With tickets at $6/adults, you can afford to buy refreshments.

Only theatre in town. Beautiful new seats. Great sound system. Nice up grades everywhere. The BEST Popcorn 🍿 in Michigan and probably the world, I just haven't been everywhere. New selection of drinks plus some new candies 🍬.

Very nice kids go here. It's like the culture here is the kids are good. I moved here from west side of Michigan. The kids in the theater are running all over. Yelling. Bothering people. Big difference in kids behaviors in the western part of Michigan. Oscoda was an eye opener
