Visited the Pacific way cafe’s bakery and ordered an almond croissant, Tayberry scone, and cinnamon roll. Everything was just as scrumptious as I remember it being when I used to visit as a child. 10/10 recommend!!

Turned out to be. One of the better dinners we had in our visit to Cannon Beach.
A little north or where we stayed, it was a worthwhile ride drive north. Great food. Awesome setting and really friendly owner and staff. Had the duck… it was excellent.

It’s heartbreaking to say, this was my first and only opportunity to eat here as they are closing after tonight. They have the best crab cakes we’ve ever had! Also, great carrots, focaccia bread and oil, and halibut! 🥰 best wishes to the chef and staff!

I had no idea!

Living on the coast, our choices are limited. There's plenty of good food out here, but - until now - nothing really special. We came for a special dinner, but didn't realize how special it would be. One of our favorite chefs in Astoria worked with the in-house team at The Pacific Way to make a truly special evening.

Dishes highlighted local specialties; oysters, mushrooms, salmon, and seasonal berries. Everything was beautifully prepared and delicious. Plating and serving were exceptional as well. My only regret is that we didn't take advantage of the excellent wine pairings. Won't make that mistake again!

We had a very pleasant evening and an excellent meal here.
We shared two starters. Chili Roasted Carrots were our favorite but the Fried Calamari & Shrimp was definitely a second best.
For our main courses two of us had the Lamb Shank and the other two savored the Steak.
All meals had interesting flavors.
We shared the Burnt Basque Cheesecake as desert.
It’s - as far as we know -the only establishment in Gearhart serving dinner.

We had a wonderful dinner there tonight. We tried their crab and leek chowder, very tasty. Also had ravioli which was super fresh, good sauce and also we had the crab cakes. Overall an enjoyable experience and the new owners are very nice.

Our daughter got a kick out of the fake crocodiles in the bathtub in one of the bathrooms. 😂 Very quaint restaurant, worth the visit!

Beautiful decor with a cute garden out back. Restaurant and bakery. I come here when I visit Seaside. Gerhart is so nice and quiet to take a break from the fun busy seaside. I has a crab chowder and marionberry scone.

The tasting menu was thoughtful and delicious!
Every single course was delightful.
I loved it so much I went back the following week.
This is the closest thing I have found to a Michelin star in Oregon and I’ve been to at least 30 around the globe.
