The Sarasota Players is such a special place in the community. It's a platform for all who wish to sing, dance, act, learn and grow. The shows are truly magical, packed with so much talent! I've known Annamaria - Director of Operations for a long time now, and all I can say is that The Sarasota Players organization is truly lucky to have her.

Four of us went to See "Always Patsy Cline" last night Feb 10, 2023. The theatre is very welcoming and cozy, and seats were perfect.

However, I felt that the show should have billed "Louise & her Honky Tonk Band" with special guest Patsy Cline. I say this because every thing was loud and clear except for Patsy. It wasn't just one song, it was every song. She is the star!

Our seats were directly in front of the sound booth, so we were hearing exactly what the sound techs were hearing. The mic'ing technique was something I've seen before (at the hairline above the nose) and Louse's mic seemed much closer to being set properly, but Louise didn't have a band playing while she was speaking.

Other than that easily correctable problem we found the show to be very enjoyable.

I had the amazing opportunity of seeing my younger sister, Alexis Jackson, perform Backstage at the Players Theater in "Rabbit Hole"... and let me tell you, what a great place to sit and enjoy an evening! The actors were ALL awesome and nailed their performance. The venue was small and intimate and just completely felt like I had VIP tickets to the show. I recommend any and all to visit the players theater... what a terrific experience?

Wow, what a marvelous performance I witnessed here. Impeccable acting group, the seating was very intimate, the stage crew was phenomenal ,the play itself was so incredibly fluid , the drinks were afforadble (5 dollars for wine at a play isn't a bad deal!) Great venue ,the acoustics were awesome, and there wasn't a bad seat in the house! Also a fully packed house it was! The ticket clerk was a little less than friendly but not unfriendly, just clearly takes their job VERY seriously which really is a good thing ,all in all 5 stars

To the Follies with two friends , the acting was great and you could tell they were having a good time. Lots of fun energy at a great storyline! The only issue was perhaps it was rather cold in the theater which stamp in the enjoyment a little bit. Great place
