Das Essen ist sehr lecker und wir werden oft besuchen.
They are currently undergoing an update, courtesy of the new owner. We can't wait for them to reopen in January. The German food selections are perfection, and the atmosphere is incredibly comfortable. Colton, the bartender/server, is absolutely fantastic. We happily drive nearly an hour to relax and dine, as this is the single best restaurant within 100 miles. Our top recommendations are the Bavarian Appetizer, Rhineland Wursts, and Weinerschnitzel.

I understand they’re going through a transition and I hope they get there quickly. Unfortunately, much of our food wasn’t really up to par. We were a party of four on Valentines weekend. Wild mushroom, cream sauce and meatballs were good. The blackened shrimp Alfredo dish was lacking in taste and the Alfredo sauce was sparse at best. (It wasn’t my entrée, but it was visibly dry.) The burger was good. Schnitzel was good however the color of the potato cakes was a bit off. The apple strudel wasn’t a strudel but a shortcake with apple filling poured over the top. Nothing strudel about it and unfortunately that night they were out of ice cream. Chocolate cake was good.
We’ll try it again sometime just because we enjoyed the atmosphere and the live music. However, it will just be the two of us and we will definitely wait awhile in hopes that the food improves as they work out the transition.

Stopped here for lunch during a cross country trip. I sat at the bar. The bartender, Jessica, was very friendly. I ordered a bowl of French onion soup and a Rueben with fries. The French onion soup was more bread than soup. It was like and six inch sub roll. The soup itself was bland. The Rueben and fries were good.

Called in order couple French Onion Soups pretzel bread w/cheese & side salad , it was hour before closing only few people there , waitress was nice , somewhat new she had order ready to pick up , got us taken care of & was super nice . Our food was good just not enough of it , soup was tasty just a very small bowl , pretzel & cheese warm & Mmm side salad crispy goodness, the tab expensive for the amount of food & my husband was like I’m hungry I wanted some soup lol we stopped got him filled up on way home , we enjoyed our night & enjoyed what we did get . After a long day of travel and hopeful after reading reviews. Very disappointed. Server was friendly and responsive. However the supposed “German” food was a joke. Deep fried tasteless. All the sides were recently microwaved and looked like they sat around dehydrating in the frig for ages before being warmed up by Executive Chef “Mike”. Gordon Ramsey needs to do an episode here. Stop by for a drink maybe some wings but dont waste your time on the german fare.

Really cute little German dinner place right off the highway. Simple selection, nicely decorated interior and yummy food! We were the only ones in the bar / restaurant area around 5pm. Apparently there is a movie theater of some kind attached.

This is a neat place to stop by and visit if you’re in the area. We only came in for the restaurant but realized it is a working theater with dinner service. Such a cool idea. The atmosphere was neat, well decorated, fireplace had a fire going. Food was good, unique selections. Service was great. Be sure to ask about specials and check out their favs/recommended dishes.
