I'm a photographer from Indy and, hands-down, The Stables is my favorite venue to work with in Lafayette. Jackie and her team are some of the most welcoming, accommodating people I've ever worked with.

Since their opening, I've photographed several weddings at The Stables and my clients only ever have great things to say about having their wedding here.

I never have a hard time finding spots to photograph my couples and their wedding parties! Having getting ready space on-location is a huge time saver for my clients and their photography timeline, too--which means more time for photos or to just relax!

The Stables is a beautiful venue! We had our wedding there on 8/10/24. We were allowed in at 8:00am to start hair and makeup and set-up.
They have an excellent bridal suite (with enough outlets) and a very nice groom’s room as well! The inside of the barn is large enough to accommodate a large event and they have two great outdoor ceremony sites. Finally, as far as venue perks, the grounds are beautiful and we were allowed to use all of it for photos.
Frankly, many venues can tout a lovely setting. What really sets The Stables apart are the owners and their team! Jackie and Scott were amazing to work with and helped us make sure we had everything set the way we wanted. They have a liquor license and catering so we didn’t have to worry about organizing any third party vendors and the food was fantastic!
All of the staff members that worked our wedding were so kind and made our night absolutely perfect!

Atmosphere is great! And they have several selections of NA beer, which is important! This business that serves alcohol way out in the country should consider how to get people home safely after they’ve been drinking.

I think the room is too boomy for a DJ. We were shouting just to talk during our party and I nearly lost my voice by the end of the night.

Also, when foods are served, there should be some sort of tag to say what the food is. Many of us have food intolerances, and or things that we are avoiding eating.

We had an amazing wedding day! Despite the high temperatures, high humidity, and storms. Our indoor wedding turned out perfect!! I would recommend The Stables Event Center for special occasions a million times over! Everything went perfectly! Scott and Jackie are amazing and were there for us whenever and for whatever we needed with no hesitation!!! Such a sweet couple! Thank you for giving us the perfect day at your Venue!!

We had our son’s grad party here with a couple of his friends. It had plenty of room for family and friends to enjoy. It’s clean! And such a beautiful venue. I’m grateful to Jackie and Scott Bond for sharing their beautiful property with us. Jackie and her staff are awesome to work with.

I cannot rave enough about The Stables. We just had our wedding on June 15th and it was PERFECT!! The venue is absolutely stunning and there is so much to work with to make your vision happen. Jackie runs The Stables and I can truly say she was consistently and constantly working to make sure the day was perfect!! She always went above and beyond and had fast and clear communication with me. I didn’t have a wedding planner and Jackie worked so well with me and my other vendors to make sure everything went smoothly leading up. Jackie pays attention to details and she helped so much!! Words cannot express the gratitude that I have for Jackie!! I HIGHLY recommend The Stables for your next event!
