I've visited this location for 2 nights in a row and was served by Aries both nights and he was absolutely incredible. Aries was patient, attentive, quick with orders despite the obstacles he faced with the kitchen. He was such a jewel I honestly thought he was the owner. I'm only rating this spot a 5 because of his diligence. Beyond that it would be a 1

I actually really liked my burger!!! But besides that I can't rate this place highly for two reasons:

1. At the show we went to (Sam Tallent who was HILARIOUS) there was a guy in the audience who needed to be kicked out waaaaaay before he actually was. I think he was finally escorted out by two random crowd members which is wild. Sam handled the guy like a pro but it was embarrassing that the venue didn't step in.
2. Please please please tell the servers to not be so damn loud when they are taking orders or making small talk. I missed some great jokes because a server was making his own jokes with a table nearby. On top of this and perhaps because it was a Thursday night show but they closed our tabs super early. I know my table would have gotten another round if they were asked and it would have decreased the babble coming from the servers trying to have all the audience members pay out before the comedian was finished.

The comedy was great! The food is terrible. If they actually cared about the food they serve, this place could really thrive! There is a 2 item minimum so you have to order things. We dont drink so food was our preference. We ordered the pretzel... it was bad. The empanadas were disgusting so we didn't touch them. They gave us the wrong kind anyway and they looked carelessly deep fried for too long. The experience of the comical acts was enjoyable. I tipped well because it's not the servers fault the food is whack. I will come back but I will not come hungry ?. The menus were very dirty and sticky. Clean them!! People notice.

A fun second show at The Stress Factory, April 2022, with comedian Joe DeVito. As with Joe Machi, we learned he was going to be appearing here and quickly bought tickets. DeVito has a different cadence and repertoire than Machi, but both work. Excellent appearance with relatable insight. It's nice of Joe DeVito to take time to meet his fans on the way out the door after the end of his routine . We had a good conversation with him and I even made him laugh with a comment about someone in the audience he engaged with at a nearby table.

For food fans, my turkey panini I ordered off the menu was the same chicken sandwich I had last time, still good, and my partner's Pit'Wich was still flavorful but cut back. Inflation changes things, including your menu items. A good venue, a place to go when in the mood for a laugh and relaxing evening.

Great time watching comedian Joe Machi Friday evening live on stage at The Stress Factory. When we heard he was going to be in Bridgeport this weekend, we reserved a table for two for the 7pm show as we always find him amusing. Arriving early for drinks and dinner, we were told we could have our choice of seats, so we sat right at one of the tables in the front row center.

Our server Evan took our order for two special cocktails, one rum punch as he called it, though I think it was the Malibu Bay Breeze on the menu, and one Maker's Manhattan, plus two appetizers, a Vegadilla, a quesadilla with mushrooms, peppers, kale, onions and cheese, and eight chicken wings that come dry-rubbed and smoked. The drinks and starters were all good.

The show started with the MC warming up the crowd before our dinner arrived - a Park City Pit'Wich, Angus beef with cheddar, horseradish and au jus on a roll, and a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with bacon mayo on white bread. Both of these food selections were also very good.

Two other comedians came on as warm-ups before Joe Machi, who along with the MC had their own insights to deliver to the crowd. Big cheers when Joe came out and he gave an entertaining and humorous performance from start to finish, sharing out loud what he thought the audience was receptive to and not, making mental notes. He ran new joke material by all of us at the end for feedback. Wonderful evening out.

Great venue at The Stress Factory. Excellent seating, atmosphere, talent, food and drinks. Parking is on the street but we had no problem getting a spot close to the club for an easy walk to the door. Looking forward to another show.

Bought tickets to Wednesday night new talent doors were locked. Site said sign ups at 7 doors were locked. Website said show starts at 7:30 doors were still locked.

Laid back venue with reasonable ticket prices. The restaurant was out of about half the menu, they also don’t give free glasses of tap water (which is illegal in CT) and the waitress automatically used top shelf liquor for mixed drinks causing our bill to be much much higher than expected

I saw Sinbad tonight and he was absolutely amazing!!! He's as funny as ever! And the location and set up was great. Can't wait to go to another show here! Food was pretty good but I wasn't here for fine dining. They could do better with the drinks though, kinda cheap with the alcohol.
