Mackenzie and Konnie at the Vista made wedding planning without a coordinator a BREEZE. They are so organized, are willing to listen to your vision and provide honest opinions, and are reasonably priced. Plus the venue is absolutely beautiful! It was important to us to find somewhere that offered a great area for the ceremony and the reception. They offer both, and it is truly the best mix of beauty and function.

Our guests were obsessed with the food. The green chile hatch mac and cheese is suspiciously good.

My husband and I are so happy to have celebrated our wedding at The Vista on April 22, 2023! We have come to love Applewood for their beautiful course and were excited to learn about their events venue.

The Director of Private Events and Sales, Mackenzie was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process! She is incredibly welcoming, warm, and professional. I could not have imagined having another day of coordinator to help bring our special day to life. Additionally, the entire staff the day of our wedding were amazing. Zoe, who assisted Mackenzie was the best! She was Mackenzie's right hand and we were so happy to have her there to help with anything we may have needed. The entire dinner/bar staff were thoughtful, professional and engaging, we could tell they were genuinely happy to be there.

The Vista has a unique homey feel that is unmatched and will leave you wanting to come back to relive the day over and over again. I am incredibly blessed and thankful to Mackenzie and all the staff at the Vista for making our dreams come true. Do not hesitate to book your special day here!

My husband and I got married at The Vista on Saturday and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Everyone is so kind and helpful. Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful and the team over at The Vista exceeded my expectations. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the indoor reception space is spectacular! Mackenzie and Connie are amazing to work with and the kitchen/bar staff kept all our guests happy. Highly recommended this venue!!

Simply amazing. Everything about Vista was perfect. The food was delicious, the staff were kind and friendly, and Mackenzie and Konnie were nothing short of excellent. Mackenzie was very communicative throughout the process and helped guide us through everything. I never had a worry working with them. They made my dream turn out perfect. And the venue is so gorgeous with its beautiful views. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

Had our wedding here this past weekend and it was so wonderful! Staff was fabulous and heard many times that our wedding food was the best wedding food guests had at any wedding they’ve been to. Our venue contact was very good about answering questions quickly and changing things as needed. Would definitely recommend for your wedding!

The Vista at Applewood was an incredible place to have our wedding. The venue is gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the people are amazing. Mackenzie, Konnie and Glenda were so helpful and attentive to our every need. Mackenzie was our point of contact to prepare the day, she's so responsive and flexible which made planning the day a breeze. Konnie was such an incredible coordinator, the day wouldn't have gone this smoothly without her and Glenda had some great advice on the food side of things, she was also a great help during wedding dinner, going around and making sure guests had everything they needed. Our wedding was even more perfect than we had imagined and it couldn't have gone this well without the incredible people at the Vista. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding at the foot of the rockies in Golden.

We had our Golden Wealth Solutions event here on Wednesday night. Applewood is a lovely venue. We did the buffet style and there was steak and chicken. The sides were salad, mashed potatoes, and veggies. The dinner roll with butter was amazing, but what is even more amazing is taking one of the butter balls, putting it on your mashed potatoes, and then using the chicken gravy over top of it all.

The host staff was wonderful to work with. They were friendly and attentive. They kept bringing around appetizers to us during the cocktail hour.

What I liked best though, and get ready for this, was the berry cobbler they made. It was like my nana's and when you pair that with the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and a cup of coffee, watch out. I was putting the cobbler on my cookie like it was a berry cobbler jam.

Finally, as more of a house keeping item, we launched our new Golden Wealth solutions website. Applewood set up the A/V equipment for a nominal fee. It worked great and there were no tech issues whatsoever.

Book it for a work event, celebration (like retirement or birthday), or I might even go so far as to say a wedding!!
