This place was absolutely amazing to work with! They have the option to bring your own decorations but also have some that you can rent as well. This was very helpful! They were very responsive to all of our questions and made sure we thought of everything prior to the big day. I couldn’t be happier with our choice! Angie and her team were so friendly and organized. They communicated with our DJ and caterer so everything ran smoothly and we could just enjoy our reception! Definitely recommend for wedding receptions, graduation parties, family reunions, etc!!

We chose to have our wedding at The Wright Place. Mary and Angie were wonderful to work with and had everything set to perfection for us. They were accommodating for our needs and did everything to make it a great experience for us. We also loved how we pretty much had free range when it came to decorating. We wouldn't change anything about our wedding, and we are so thankful we had it at The Wright Place.

I had my graduation party here a few years ago (2015) and have come to many, many, many parties here since then. Staff is always great and super helpful. They do what they can to help you achieve your vision.

I didn't know places still could deny you service based on your ethnicity/color of your skin. I originally reached out to the venue to get more information about hosting an event. They were more than excited and communicated that they had availability for the date that I requested and provided additional information. They also asked additional questions such as what kind of event are you hosting(wedding, birthday party, reunion, etc.), how many people are you expecting, will you have any additional outside vendors and also communicated that I would need to purchase special event insurance, which was no big deal. I responded back with my answers. My response to the first question was that it was a birthday party for a 15 year old girl which then prompted them to ask me if this was a quinceanera. I responded with a Yes and that resulted in them saying that they do not host quinceaneras anymore. When I asked why that was, they responded back saying they had issues with underage drinking with past events. If you have issues with underage drinking then maybe you should hire a more reliable third party bartending vendor or have off duty officer like most venues have. It all sounds like an excuse to me and what it really sounds like is discrimination against Hispanics. Guarantee that if I would have acted dumb and asked what a quinceanera was, when they asked me that follow up question, or had said it was Sweet 16 birthday party or any other type of party, that they would have wanted my business. I will gladly pay more and take my business elsewhere!! Disgusting people!

We could not have been happier with everyone we worked with at The Wright Place. The venue was perfect, with excellent amenities that made everything run smoothly. The entire staff was helpful, responsive and always professional and friendly. I highly recommend them!!!

I chose the Wright place because it was one of few venues I found where you could bring in both your own beer and wine and choose your own caterer or bring your own food. It is a little more expensive, but when you factor in how much you save of food and alcohol, it was worth it. We booked our wedding in Nov 2015 and got married June 2017. Both Mary and KellyJean were both pretty responsive to emails. The night of our rehearsal, the refrigerator was at 60° but I called and they came to look at it and waiting while the temp went down. The only thing I didn't really appreciate about that was that it was implied that we didn't shut the door. Possibly, but I don't know who else is gonna spend $1000s on beer and pop and food and not check the doors.
The night of the wedding went swimmingly. If there were any hiccups, my hosts and KellyJean didn't let on and I had no idea. We got our full damage deposit back within a month of the big day. I'd recommend this place to someone who is looking for a blank slate to decorate however they wanted. They do also offer linens and things to rent, along with some decorations, like lights and chandeliers.
