We've been attending performances here for years. The shows are always fun and the venue is small, meaning every seat in the house is excellent. They have a bar and make really good drinks for a bargain price, plus they'll give you a cap and a straw so you can enjoy your drink during the performances!

The staff are friendly and genuinely seem happy you're there. The place is a little hard to find if you're not used to making the trek often, because it is kind of tucked away. But Google Maps will guide you to the exact spot you need to be.

The seats are reminiscent of "old school theater" seats. While they don't look fancy like the big cinema seats, in my opinion they're the most comfortable. You also get a LOT more leg room at Theatre Baton Rouge than you do an most other venues. That's a nice plus when you're tall or when someone has to pass to get in or out.

You need to check out this little gem of entertainment if you haven't already. If you're visiting Baton Rouge on the night of a performance, do yourself a favor and see if you can pick up some will-call tickets (you probably can). It's well worth it.

The Fox on the Fairway performance by Theatre Baton Rouge is hysterical! The characters were perfectly cast with great chemistry between the actors. Absolutely worth checking out if you want a great laugh!!
The bar was open before and during intermission with plastic cups available to bring inside the theater. (Not sure if that is always allowed since I saw signs requesting no food or drink inside the theater.)
$6 wine, can’t beat it!

The cast & set of The Glass Menagerie were awesome! Unfortunately, I could not enjoy the play as much as I had hoped because of the smoke and the seats.

The smoke to create a dream-like state in the play really bothered my allergies.

The theater seats were not great for my back problems. Embarrassingly, I moved, jumped, and twitched the entire play.

My daughter and I went to see “Seussical the Musical”. We are apart of another theater program in our area and love supporting other programs when possible. The box office was a bit unorganized. (You pay an internet fee of $3 to print your tickets at home, but you do not receive them. It actually isn’t available that way. There is also a convenience fee of $2 per ticket). The volunteer/staff member looks up your name from a print out to confirm. She told me my tickets were for the night before which was impossible because that was when I purchased them. After more research, my tickets were confirmed. She wrote the seat number down on a piece of paper and gave it to us. She didn’t when the house would open or if it was. There is not a staff member available at the theater doors.
All of the actors were very good. There are quite a few very strong performers. We really enjoyed the show. We only wished we had programs to read through. Thanks for a great show.

We saw The Adams Family for our 1 year wedding anniversary. It was a great show. Amazing singers, dancers, and overall talent. Will definitely be coming to see another show.

My grandparents and I have been here so many times. Every production has been wonderful! You can tell that the cast and crew and auxiliary staff really care about what they’re doing! As for the theater itself, it’s really clean and well maintained! I do wish they still gave out paper playbooks (maybe I just missed the last one?) but you can always visit the website to find the production info! May end up getting season tickets!

My husband and I attended the theatre last night for the showing of Theatre Baton Rouge's adaptation of "Clue". It was very enjoyable. CDC guidlelines in place, and everything ran smoothly. The acting was very well done...such a humorous show.
