I love this,little,hometown theatre for 14 dollars 2 people can sit and watch a movie. Out currently brings me back,to the days as little boy.10 dollars gets you a large,popcorn and large. Drink. Never a lot of people. So it's almost like having the theatre to yourself

Thomson Twin Cinema is pretty decent. The price for tickets recently went up, from $5 to $7 for regular films and $10 for 3D because of the recent upgrade to digital--still not bad at all compared to the extremely expensive movie theaters in the surrounding area. I like the friendly service. It's a family run movie theater so there's that element of community that I really enjoy from small businesses. The goodies aren't over-priced either.

The only problem that I have is sometimes the sound can be a little too low. Other than that, it's a great bargain, great place to catch a flick.

Visited with my daughter tonight. We watched Scary Stories to tell in the Dark! Nice small town theater we are definitely going to visit more when able and the person working was nice as well!

I have been going to Thomson Twin Cinema since I can remember. Never have I had such a terrible experience there. I went to view Paranormal Activity 4 this past Sunday. When the movie started it was so dark we couldn't even see the picture. When we reported this to the projectionist he said, "That is as good as it gets. It has been this way for a week or so. The bulbs are going out & they are expensive!" I was amazed at that answer. So we are supposed to watch it that way?! No, I don't think so. So we went to the concession stand to get our money back. They gave us two free passes, which was fine. But what about the $6.50 we spent on snacks and a coke? The on duty manager, Melanie, said "Absolutely no refunds!" This was unacceptable. I don't want a refund cause I had to leave or I didn't enjoy the show. I want a refund because YOUR business has not purchased the bulbs and I cannot see the show at all. This is not my fault, but the cinemas fault. I was livid. She stood her ground, but trust me next time before I buy my ticket of snacks I will be verifying if they have done their job first. I will also be re-posting this on every social media page I can find, not to mention I will be sending a letter to our local paper. I am very upset at the lack of customer service skills this so called "manager" has shown me.

Guy at front desk was thorough and polite made the experience great. Really cool guy I also liked the way he prepared our popcorn. Movie was awesome had the whole theater to ourselves. I highly recommend this place.

This Cinema should not offer 3D movies until they are properly equipped. The viewing was almost impossible as it looked like the room was full of smoke because of the poor set up. I'm certainly no expert but I know when something is not working properly especially after I've seen it done properly.

The sound has been too low twice, really loud once. Other than that, no lines, inexpensive ticket prices. Would be nice if they had a summer children's event.

I love the Thomson Twin cinema!! I personally love the cozy small town feel of this theatre. My family and I have been there countless times and have always been satisfied with the hospitality of the staff and the movies have always been great. I would hate to lose this place, very few places you can go anymore thats clean budget friendly.
