We had an incredible experience at Toast for our wedding! The ceremony and reception spaces were not only spacious but also beautifully bright and timeless. It provided the perfect setting for our formal/black-tie celebration, yet its versatility could accommodate almost any style or theme. Highly recommend Toast for a memorable and elegant wedding venue!

I am a mobile DJ in central Iowa and I had the privilege of being the DJ/EMCEE at a wedding at Toast this past weekend. The experience of working with Toast was amazing and I would like to highlight the great aspects of this venue and what makes it unique:

The venue is beautiful. They can seat many guests as you can see in the photos I've attached. Also, there is a beautiful outdoor rooftop patio for cocktail hour. Toast also has a well-designed floor layout. Cocktail hour transitions well to the reception and their facilities are updated and classy.

The staff is competent and some of the most polite venue staff I have had the privilege to work with. I would like to specifically give a shout-out to specific staff members who were super polite and made my experience great. Sara is one of the venue coordinators at Toast and was the first person I spoke with over the phone to navigate the event space. Sara was polite, and kind, and was happy to answer all of my questions - you can really tell she loves her role at Toast! Kacie is the current intern at Toast and was checking in with me throughout the evening to make sure the bride and groom had a wonderful event. The bartending staff, specifically Christina and Karl were the first staff members I met when arriving, and they greeted me so kindly and were really helpful the entire evening. The other members of the bartending staff Dylan and Marshall were also great and polite as well.

Again, Toast is a wonderful venue with great staff. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with outstanding people that is close to the Des Moines metro, I think you have found your place. Thanks for making my experience so great!

I photographed a wedding at Toast in Oct 2022 - gorgeous venue, and amazing staff. It's a real gem in this location, especially with the numbers they can accommodate! Beautiful light for photos all over, and the reception space is dreamy. If you have a large wedding, you've got to jump on this one!

We held our June 15, 2024, wedding at Toast and overall we would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful space in which to get married and party afterwards!

Truthfully, our lone complaint was that prior to the wedding, communication with the venue had its ups and downs. For example, my wife scheduled a meeting with the venue, drove 2.5 hours to attend the meeting in-person, and was informed that the meeting was "never confirmed," and as a result had to wait a couple hours for the meeting to eventually take place.

Outside of that, our guests raved about how beautiful the space was, and we were thrilled with how everything turned out on our big day. Such a lovely venue!!

Obviously, it’s a beautiful space and you don’t need a Google review to tell you. The staff is really noteworthy, though! Sara showed me the space and easily answered all of my questions. And Carl helped us the day of our event and went above and beyond multiple times. Would recommend!

Attended a wedding reception. Beautiful space. Some decorative lightbulbs were out, which I found odd for such a beautiful venue. Servers friendly and almost too efficient in clearing dishes, cups etc. Food was good but nothing special for I'm sure the price that was paid. Adequate parking in the lots, especially for that area of town. Seemed clean throughout, though the rest rooms could have used some attention midway thru the evening.

I am so lucky I was able to have my wedding at Toast! Sara and the staff were easy to communicate with and did everything possible to accommodate my requests. Not to mention how beautiful Toast is! I wish I could give more stars!!
