We recently attended a comedy show here by Bay Area Comics. It was such a cute space to watch a comedy show. All of the comedians were really funny and everyone in the audience seemed to be having so much fun. At the end, I laughed so hard, I cried. We will definitely be attending more shows there, and looking for more shows by Bay Area Comics!

Cute little theater, good sound and comfy seats. On street parking was hard to find and the only downside. You should have more live music here.

I love this well established theater, which still manages to maintain it's small town feel. I have seen many a show there, and everything has been nearly magical: from the quickly served, fair priced beverages, to the comfortable seats. The dramatic presentations are top notch, and well worth the price of admission. I've seen several rock and roll tribute bands as well, which I really love since many of my rock idols have long since moved on to the "great gig in the sky." I have to mention the unannounced "freebies," I have enjoyed, such as free live music in the lounge before and during the intermission some shows, and posters that would make the late great promoter Bill Graham proud, handed gratis to concertgoers upon their exit. A must visit, cultural bargain of a 104 year old gem in the East Bay city of Lafayette.

What a delightful kept secret. I have attended two Cover Band Concerts and have had much fun. The people are wonderful, I've never seen am MC more perfect for the job! I have enjoyed myself immensely!! I hope to visit regularly. Thank you for all your hard work........

We've been season ticket holders for 6 years and have always loved the town hall. Unfortunately, it appears they have take a different direction with "Angels in America". The venue is great, the actors are great, but the story line is very depressing, filled with profanity and graphic descriptions. This is not the way to spend an otherwise enjoyable evening. We ended up walking out at intermission, and would have done so sooner, but did not want to be rude to the actors. We saw several others walking out as well. It would be easy to dismiss this review and say that we are biased or not opened minded and that is absolutely NOT the case. We are college educated, grew up in the Bay Area and are extremely tolerant of many lifestyles. It simply was a story line that was not entertaining and very disturbing.
