Wes Bartlett is very bias with how he directs he’s play. I have a very personal story to share but I can’t do so because it would cause issues with someone I know who is in the play. He was very inconsiderate to how he treats people who are going through rough things. I wish I could be completely honest about his actions on this review but sadly I can’t because again he is bias.

Quaint downtown community theater.
Small concession stand with snacks you can bring into the show.
Not really a bad seat in this small of a house. Great local talent makes all their shows a fun night out.
Easy to catch dinner downtown and then catch a show.

An absolutely lovely place to volunteer for. The work is extremely satisfying as well as an amazing way to see shows for free. These people have a heart of gold and are always seeking for fresh volunteers ready to serve. Empress Theatre offers a wide variety of plays, workshops, and broadcasted events for all ages. Families are always welcome.

We offer popcorn, candy, chips, and soda. As well as a variety of coffee and tea beverages.

This movie theatre has the self-serve Freestyle Coke machine (where you can mix and match and make your own fountain drink flavors). The seating inside the theatre I was in had very comfy chairs, and the chairs reclined quite a bit. It was I nice experience overall.

Our 1st visit and I was impressed! The Miracle Worker / Helen Keller was a great show. All of the actors did excellent! I will be watching for the next show!!

The most wonderful cast and crew welcomed me with open arms in spite of me being an unknown. This a “family” community theater with a professional approach, surrounded by talent and experience. Do NOT miss a show here.
