Amazing show. Goes through some of Hawaii's history and kind of explains some of the gods and demigods. Like background music and sound effects. And just a little air acrobatics (cirque du Soleil type of stuff). Cast is super friendly and took pictures with my family at the end of the show. Standing ovation.

Good show. I saw it years ago and I believe that it had been narrated then to let people who don't know the Hawaiian culture understand it a little bit better. But beautiful dancers scenery and acting. Still a must visit.

My daughter and I attended the performance on 1/29/15 and were so impressed with the dance, vocalists, instrumentals, the sets and the beautifully told story. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Maui. It was the perfect culmination of our first trip to Maui. Bravo! The production was 100% outstanding.

Skip the commercialized luau's people, and tell your concierge you want tickets to see this fabulous production. There is also the option to have a buffet style dinner with the cast afterwords, something our concierge knew nothing about. Great singing, guitar, drumming and sound effects all beautifully done! Stage work, acting, singing, props, dancing, audience involvement, all amazing!!! If you want to understand just a small portion of the history of the Maui people before and after colonization, you've got to see this. Well done!

We have seen this FABULOUS SHOW 3 times already (each time we go to Maui). It is a little like Cirque du Soleil in that there are lots of vivid, physical feats happening, incredible outfits, FANTASTIC music & percussion going on. The visual & musical stories going on are so MOVING, stylized, riveting, PURE ENTERTAINMENT. Great for all ages. Told with sensitivity, artistry & in the perspective of the indigenous Hawaiians. You will Not be disappointed!

Incredible performance depicting Hawaii's long and troubled history. I was most impressed by the soundtrack, all of it is sung and played live by singers and musicians both on stage and off. It is dramatic, intense, emotional, and very enjoyable. A must see if you are visiting Hawaii and want to learn more about its culture and history.

Awesome even if you don't normally go to interpretive shows like this. It showed a great overview of the history of the Hawaiin people in their own language but easily understood through the dances. The drummers and percussion dudes were incredible. It sounded professionally recorded but is all live. Incredible doesn't describe it.
