We have had the pleasure of bartending multiple weddings at this venue. It is absolutely stunning and the staff take a lot of pride in keeping the grounds clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our season here and can't wait for future seasons at Valhalla.

We are so happy we chose Valhalla for our wedding venue! The staff was very professional throughout our planning process and allows a lot of freedom when it comes to booking vendors. The scenery is beyond beautiful! Our guests kept commenting they felt like they were in an enchanted forest. The dock and barn are great for additional photo opportunities! Highly recommend!

Valhalla is an absolute STUNNER of a venue. Pictures truly don’t capture the beauty of the charming old estate, surrounded by tall pines with the backdrop of sparkling Lake Tahoe. It doesn’t get much better than that for a Tahoe venue—and all our guests commented on how beautiful Valhalla was after our reception! Michelle at Valhalla was also super great to work with. 10000% would choose Valhalla again, and it will always have a special place in our hearts!

Beautiful spot for a wedding and concerts. They have a very festive annual holiday craft show. Great swim spot off the dock.

Valhalla really is a remarkable venue and so beautifully placed by the water. We had a magical wedding here.

However, several things you may want to understand about the venue. They don't seem to manage a lot of high end events here. They up charge a lot for any changes to the venue away from their baseline setup (which is not always the nicest starting point). They have lots of restrictions regarding location and logistics of certain parts of your event on the property. They were very unaccommodating at times. For instance, we paid the petty 125 for the photographs in the theater and when our photographer chose to adjust the timing for better lighting, they closed the space and would not permit our photos at a later time. They require the vendors to work extra hard which resulted in our having to hire additional staff with added costs from multiple vendors to facilitate the evening. Valhalla also ended up keeping our deposit for a time overage which was due to vendor miscommunication and never even responded to an email we wrote to contest the extra charge. So while beautiful, beware of the hidden restrictions and potential extra costs on top of the base rental fee from both Valhalla and your vendors to be able to work there.

Very beautiful scenery. We missed the sun rise because we didn't know the gate was closed and we had to walk 15 to 20 minutes from the parking lot near the road. If you plan to see sun rise or sun set here, add at least 15 minutes to your plan. The parking is free and big enough for about 10 cars. This place is also next to POPE beach.
