There is absolutely no better vet I've ever come across. Paula Parrish is so amazing and the other staff members are extremely kind, friendly and helpful. These are people that genuinely care about animals and it truly shows in the high quality of care they provide.

Wonderful and highly recommended love and care for our fur babies. ? ? ?

No compassion or flexibility to help an old man with his sick kitty. I was late to an appointment (my fault entirely) and sat in the parking lot for 1 1/2 hours while they were closed for lunch. When they reopened there was no effort or flexibility to help. My little cat died while I was driving a distance to try and get help. We may not have been able to save her but I was simply turned away without any effort to help me.

It is with great sadness to know that the doors to the Valley Springs veterinary clinic will be closing at the end of December. Dr. Parish and her staff have provided the most caring & professional service for my dog & cat. They will be greatly missed !

All of my animals are seen here and they are amazing. Great prices but they are so kind and great to the animals. I had to put my 17 year old cat down and they were very kind and also got upset when she passed :(. You can tell they turely care about the animals that they see/ take care of.

They are also very great about remembering you and your animals names.

The little team at the Veterinary Clinic here in Valley Springs is outstanding! They are so kind and gentle to both pets and people, and that makes a huge difference to all involved during a furry friend's time of need. They understand the stress involved with not only the health issues at hand, but also those associated with caging and transporting cats.

In addition to their kindness and compassion, everyone in the office is very knowledgeable and informative, with Dr. Paula being their in-house Einstein of Veterinary Medicine. She really knows her craft, is fearless in the face of my giant ball of claws, has a great sense of humor, and is also very prompt and professional.

As you can tell, I just cannot say enough good things about the care provided here for both my cats and dog...we love VSVC!

I've known Dr. Paula Parish for almost 20 years. I have never been happier with a vet than I am with her. She has helped me raise more than five dogs from puppyhood all the way to the end. Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to two dogs within two months. Paula along with her husband Mike and Mary (Office Manager) are the most compassionate people I have ever met. I write this on the day that I had to have Dr. Parish put my ten year old lab down (Diabetes). Every one of them gave me hugs and Mary was quick with the tissues. I plan to get another puppy soon and I will definitely trust the new dog to the impeccable care that Valley Springs Veterinary Clinic provides. Thanks again Paula, Mike and Mary...you folks are the best!

I wish to comment on the most unprofessional behavior at a vet’s office that I have ever seen. To say I was shocked doesn’t begin to describe it. It concerns Valley Springs Veterinary Clinic, Dr. PaulaParish.

I was returning some special diet canned food that my cat refused to eat. The assistant there (who I suspect is the vet’s husband) couldn’t find a record of its sale. But it is only available by prescription so I had to have bought it there. It’s the only place I have ever taken this cat. But instead of assuming that there had been a mistake, he started screaming at me. I am not exaggerating, I swear. As I went out the door and started to say something, he screamed even louder and slammed the door in my face and said never come back. No problem, I sure won’t.
