The Wednesday July 13 Cinderella performance just got over. For the talented leads in this musical, and their supporting cast, all were excellent. But the audience, and the over 150 children that were
in attendance, that was not excellent. VSU should have known better than to ask or allow children's groups to attend this Cinderella performance. This version of the fairy tale was not at all the typical Cinderella story, and it was not at all based at a level for children to understand. Unfortunately, what you did do by inviting these children groups, was effectively ruin our afternoon by having your adult audience be constantly interrupted and distracted by children who should not have been in the audience. This decision regarding children in attendance was very short-sighted of you, and although we are often at Peach State summer stock theater shows, what you should have disclosed....before we bought our tickets, was just who was going to be in the audience that afternoon so we could have made our own decision if we wanted to be subjected to disruptive and squirming elementary school children while trying to enjoy our show. What a way to ruin and absolutely fine performance. All of you should have known better at Peach State summer stock theater. Try putting your heads together the next time you want to give children an idea of what theater is like. Consider doing a children's production just for children and at a much more appropriate time... and follow the normal storyline so they might actually be interested and pay attention.

I found the facility somewhat difficult to find. I was unsure were to park and there was no assistance to let me know where to park for the stage play I was there to attend. There weren't no parking attendants or anyone assisting with were to park or directing exactly were the play was held. Overall, once parked and the building was located, the Greeter were very helpful in assisting me with my seating, theater was well maintained, clean, there wasn't a mask mandate, the facility room temperature was perfect, my seating was great and the seats were comfortable. The play "Anit Misbehavin" was worth the trouble of my not haven't any assistance. Thumbs up to the cast. ? The did an amazing performances.

Peach State Summer Theater holds professional artists in enjoyable and entertaining shows each summer. Our group has attended for at least 3 years. Multiple shows are offered. We chose the Millionaire Quartet performance this weekend. It was superb, with comedy, fine performances, and terrific music. Several of our group wanted to go back and see it again.
