Everybody at WAIF was so incredibly welcoming and helpful with us. They let us take all the time we needed to meet the cats and get a sense of their personalities. We ended up adopting one and he is such a wonderful addition to our family. The facility is beautiful, clean and smells good. The same thing cannot be said for many animal shelters, so Whidbey’s homeless animals are very lucky to be under WAIF’s care until they find homes.

Great crew at this shelter, they were very excited that we were there to adopt a cat. Hans had been there for months and we had taken a trip out to see him for adoption. Due to the fact our land Lord wasn't able to contact the vet to allow another pet we had to come back a week later but even though it was another trip over the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry we didn't mind. A week later we adopted him and are very happy with both the service and professionalism they showed during the entire process. Hans is very happy here with his new brother Shinichi. They have bonded well and we have bonded to him. Want to thank W.A.I.F. Animal Shelter for a great experience.

We went in to see the cats and we found a lovely little old cat named Napoleon and he stole our hearts immeadiately. The process to adopt him was super quick but thorough and they let us take a bag of his special diet food.
