We attended a show on April 23rd that was great fun. Packed house. Everyone in attendance seemed to be having an equally good time. The Beatles vs. the Rolling Stones concert showcased two cover bands that delivered fine music and impersonations of these two very famous rock and roll bands. As a GM local guide, I'm surprised to see I have not reviewed Warner yet, having seen several productions here over the years now. The stage is small enough to be intimate but big enough to rank as a true theater which includes balcony seating. Technically there are 1,772 seats here. Closing in 1989 to reopen in 1992 after renovations it remains a popular place to see a show. The art deco design is classic. The Warner will be celebrating it's 100th anniversary in 2031. We really enjoyed the Nancy Sinatra video "These Boots Are Made For Walking" during intermission.

This theater was really beautiful and very lovely to experience a concert in. Seats were comfortable, all at a slight angle so you could see the stage easily. Bathrooms were very lovely and accessible. Sunday was free street parking, the Warner theater has a small lot I think in the back of the building, but the tour buses took up most of it, but even if you had to pay for parking, there was a lot available on the street.

For my first experience at the Warner Theatere, I attended the Emo Orchestra featuring Hawthorne Heights. It was incredible!
The interior of the venue was gorgeous, clean, & easy to navigate. The staff was also very helpful!
Looking forward to returning in the future.

Be careful if you want to go here. Parking is horrendous. They claim to have 1700 people in attendance but provide less parking than a dive bar. It’s all street parking or public, no garages. It’s tight, can barely drive down the street with everyone circling looking for a parking spot. Am I supposed to park illegal at another business when I clearly can see a plaque from the police for ‘appreciation’? C’mon

Their policy is no refunds. It’s not what I would call “conspicuous” as it’s buried in their purchase agreement. If you call and ask for a refund they flat out refuse and don’t offer any other accommodations. They just take your money. When you politely ask, they’re rude about it. Which causes me to be rude about it, not my intention going in. It took 3 calls, 2 messages and a voicemail to get confirmation they don’t care about screwing the general public out of their hard-earned money.

So, if you want to go here. get there early. Sleep in your car, on the street, camp overnight or one of the only two hotels in the area.

Since they know they’re going to steal from you, they try and CYA with their ‘no refund’ policy. You can always dispute it with your bank for a merchant that doesn’t deliver goods or services you paid for, no matter what their policy is.

Hey Warner Theater, way to make a first impression. I’ll never come back and ensure my friends don’t either.

UPDATE: less than 48 hours later, I got my money back

I came here for a play on a Friday night and love the venue. It's very pretty and not too big, a nice intimate place. They serve drinks and snacks before shows and have plenty of parking nearby. The only con is that it is pretty far from main CT cities so takes a bit to get to.
