I've been to many subway/metro system throughout the US and Europe and the DC Metro is by far the best. Well laid out, plenty of signage, no smell, well lit and on the trains that come through Falls Church there are three different ways to tell where the train is going and which station is coming up (four if you look out the window). When I was there I always got a seat. They don't have pay by credit card at the turnstiles yet by I understand that is on the way. There is an info booth that actually has people inside it. There is little vandalism and the trains run frequently.

I would give 5 stars but that is reserved for metros in Japan and Asia.

This metro station is efficiently maintained along the Orange Line, connecting Vienna and New Carrollton Station. It is kept reasonably well and provides paid parking facilities for commuters.

Nice, clean enough, let us bring our bikes. When full service resumes, it will get 5 stars. we had to get off early due to the stops being closed 🙁

Clean and safe station. Situated in an upscale and safe neighborhood. I'd have no problem using and walking around this station at night.

Not sure how WMATA was able to make a rail line feel as bumpy as a rutted-out dirt backroad but they’ve done it in this section. Kudos to them.

Used to ride the silver line but the orange has come a long way now. Much better than it used to be. Guess they can't call it the orange crush anymore. 😁
