I love the Senior activities at the Community Center, especially the wonderful Line-dancing class on Tuesday afternoons and the free Tai Chi class three mornings a week. You only need to be 50-yrs old and a West Sacramento resident. It only cost $5 a year to register at the center. Some activities have an additional cost. ?

I saw a wonderful musical there on Saturday night at the black box theater very quaint really enjoyed the production and talented actors. Definitely will attend other events. Very very nice facility that I had never been to before.

A very fine Community Center. Offers : a Cafe, Art Gallery 1075, Learning Ladder Child Care, Active Aging Programs, Leisure Classes, Black Box Theater, Rentals and City of West Sacramento Parks and Recreation events and registration.

I visit this library to help a young man who has problems with his high school math course. The library has a large communuty room(must be reserved), study rooms, areas for solo concentration, and very comfortable cafeteria style booths one can share with another. The study rooms have a white board and ample seating for three. The booths are in the body of the library, so one should be courteous when talking to a partner.

The library staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. The library is clean, well-lighted, inviting, and an excellent place to meditate, study, or concentrate. There is parking, but one has to depend on the gods at certain times of the day.

The community center is a great local hub for the Arts and community events. The city hosts many community events here, there is a theater on the second floor. Can be rented or you can attend events, there is a city-sponsored daycare center on the second floor as well. There is a small art gallery and a large community room which I believe can be rented. There is also a small Cafe that serves Refreshments. Also, the parking lot is large and shared by the City college campus and the City Library. Parking is free

Inexpensive entertainment for Seniors on the Go! Bingo on Thursdays at 1pm and Excercise with Rose on Thursday at 130pm (chair sitting down) will get those bones and muscles in shape for the holidays! Go 4 it!

When I went lantern making was going on I have only been during lantern making and it was so much fun. You can find out about events on Facebook and when I was making lanterns they had so many interesting things to make them.
