We have been taking our pets them for a very long time. They take very good care of us. Every time we need an appointment they are right there when we would like one. We love the vets here. Dr. Bliss makes Ruby happy and calm when she comes in. She gets down to the dogs and cats level and starts playing with them and making them happy and loved. I cant say enough about this clinic. I always recommend them to people.

They are so welcoming and wonderful! I have brought my cat & dog here for a few years. My dog is super anxious and they are so amazing working with him. We recently got another dog and they, again, gave us the best intro appointment. Truly the best vet team.

Extremely friendly staff. Very welcoming. We have a dog with anxiety, and they made sure not to stress her. Will be keeping them as our primary vet.

Best Vet in Whatcom County. Dr. Bliss is a brilliant, kind and gentle veterinarian. Her accurate diagnosis and treatment plan successfully rehabilitated our severely injured and partially paralyzed doggie. The ENTIRE staff is committed to our animal's health and well-being. They are thorough and accurate with medications, testing and vaccinations. The clinic is clean, easy to find, and has plenty of parking and waiting room, which is large enough to accommodate the separation of pets.

We have added a puppy to our pack. Dr. Bliss and her staff did a wonderful and thorough exam on Beasley. Their information on vaccines, developmental stages, feeding and socializing her were very, very helpful! We are so lucky to have these folks helping us.

Some days my visits here are good and some days they’re not so great. The front desk staff is consistently surly, I will say. My last visit, my kitty’s meds had not kicked in, and he was very difficult. This is not an unknown with him, which is why I have established a steady connection with Dr. Donaldson at this office. But rather than sedate him more in the office, as I was there, and I had paid for the office visit with my limited funds, they simply stopped the visit, gave me the flea meds I had come for and sent me on my way. Three weeks later, I was in the ER with my kitty with a bladder infection. What’s likely caused by the stress of moving. A scary vet visit certainly did not help. We could have tested that at Whatcom and would have usually in my regular office visit. It was a yearly check up, but no check up really happened. Dr. Donaldson did send me an estimate to have yet another tooth pulled. In the ER the vet said he did not need any teeth pulled. He had a little gingivitis, but he wasn’t gonna live more than another year probably and there’s no reason to put him through that.

I’m just grateful that I don’t have any questions for him anymore because of the emergency vet on Meridian(see review). They gave him a thorough and complete work up and now Domino never has to go to the vet again. The last vet to see him will be here in my house when they send him over the rainbow bridge when he’s ready in about a year . 🙂

I cannot rave enough about this place!
My husband and I recently got the sweetest Australian shepherd and she came to us with quite a few problems that we needed to get sorted out at the vet and Whatcom Vet Hospital has the best people! I have not met a single person there who isn't kind, knowledgeable and extremely personable!
Their prices are reasonable and their building is very comfortable as well!! 10/5 stars!
