Horseman's Park is a great gathering place for barrel racing. There is a main arena with an adjacent area to warm up horse and rider. There is friendly competition and comeraderie among the participants. A very social group. Food trucks are on site for treats and coffee. The grounds are vast and walkable. Restrooms need updating.

Went to the making bacon festival. Will definitely be going again. So much to try and so little time. Jeffery Meldon sponsored it which makes him even cooler than I knew he was. They have very creative people in all the booths. A bacon eating contest. Great live music. Bacon everything. Bacon popcorn, Bourbon bacon ice cream. Phenomenal bacon burgers, with bacon jam, on and on. Only complaint is not enough shade.

Great arena and great people that run the equine events!! There is a concession stand and it wasn't open for the barrel event, but there was a food truck. Spacious enough for horse trailer rigs of all sizes. I didnt see hookups, so assuming you'd need generator power if staying overnight and that just takes a phone call to the horse park before you head there.

Fall Festival is definately a must visit! Food, my favorite was the clam chowder , they had fish and chips tha was almost as good?

Its a wonderful place if you are not handicapped. Went to see my granddaughters competition and couldn't get my wheelchair to the bleachers as there is no cement walk way from parking to bleachers. Its all grassy and the ground slopes sharply to the bleachers. Please make it accessible to all. And also to the restrooms and concession.
